Missions Trips

Service and mission opportunities are provided for coaches, both home and abroad.  It is our goal to expose our coaches to the opportunities overseas where they can use their gifts and talents to reach the lost for Christ and help fulfill the Great Commission.

Matthew 28: 18-20
”All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
A major pillar of the COIN ministry is Short-term missions.  We hope to accomplish some goals with our missions program

  1. Expose COIN Coaches to Missions by sending coaches overseas to serve the church.  This can be done in their areas of gifting by helping to run coaching clinics and developing youth programs for churches.
  2. Create ministry opportunities with our coaches from different sports to assist churches, missionaries, and mission agencies to reach, teach, and train coaches and athletes in those countries.  We will teach how to coach their sport from a biblical perspective.
  3. Coaches are challenged to share their faith in a cross-cultural setting where sports can be the common vehicle for relationships
  4. Partner with local churches to take part in their short term trips by offering COIN Coaches who can bring a valuable skill on short term trips to expand opportunities to reach others through sports.

In the past COIN has taken trips to Samoa, Mexico and North Africa.
