COIN brothers and sisters in Christ,
During this difficult time, we have had to adjust how we communicate and stay in touch with our staff and those involved in our ministry through prayer, discipleship, and support. We have decided to post more often on our social media. So if you don’t already follow us, now is a good time to do so!

Well – I have to say – we’ve never been through a season like this. We hope all of you are doing well and as my good friend Max would say: “when you’re in the middle of a storm – thank God we have God in our life to help us navigate the way out.” Amen brother Max.
Following consultation with our Golf Committee and Alta Vista – and with much prayer on the topic – we have decided to reschedule our tournament for later in the year. The new date for our tournament will be Monday November 16th. We trust that this will give all of you, our COIN friends and partners time to regroup. And by the way – this was really our only choice – nearly all near-term tournaments scheduled for Alta Vista have cancelled and rescheduled so the November date was our only real choice for this year. So we take what God gives us, with gratitude, knowing He will provide all we need for a successful tournament.
We want to leave you with this…These words from great brothers in the Lord are for all of us at such a time as this.
There are no mistakes in God’s plan; Jesus does all things well. A. W. Tozer said, To the child of God, there is no such thing as an accident. He travels an appointed way. . . Accidents may indeed appear to befall him and misfortune stalk his way; but these evils will be so in appearance only and will seem evil only because we cannot read the secret script of God’s hidden providence.
This idea is summed up in an accident in the life of South African pastor Andrew Murray, who once faced a terrible crisis. Gathering himself into his study, he sat a long while quietly, prayerfully, thoughtfully. Presently his mind flew to his Lord Jesus. Picking up his pen, he wrote this in his journal:
First, He brought me here, it is by His will that I am in this strait place: in that fact I will rest.
Next, He will keep me here in His love, and give me grace to behave as His child.
Then, He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn, and working in me the grace He means to bestow.
Last, in His good time He can bring me out again—how and when He knows.
Blessing to everyone,
Nelson, on behalf of the Coaches of Influence staff
