Even though school is out, we’re still gathering with most of our coaches’ fellowships—either via Zoom or in person. Our staff never lets up on our mission: to reach coaches with the gospel, encourage their faith, and strengthen their commitment to Christ.

Ministry Highlights
COIN in South Dakota
Bob Parsons (COIN South Dakota staff) has been attending coaches’ conferences, sharing the COIN ministry, and handing out books he helped write on basketball and football. These resources are powerful ministry tools for coaches at every level.
Coaches’ Wives Initiative
Steve Quatro, our Board President, has been diligently following up with Mark Welches and Lindsay Willmer regarding our ministry to coaches’ wives. We now have a detailed proposal ready to submit to several foundations—praise God for this next step!
Expanding Into Nebraska
Shawn Contos, who was part of our COIN fellowship as a wrestling coach at Hope University, has accepted the Head Wrestling Coach position at York University (NE). Once he’s settled in, he plans to launch a COIN ministry there. By God’s grace, our reach continues to grow!
A Personal Prayer Request
On a personal note, my wife Madeline’s cancer has emerged from remission. She’s been mostly bed-ridden, experiencing pain and severe fatigue, with very low blood pressure. She only rises to use the bathroom or to see her doctor with assistance.
I’m privileged to be her caregiver, but it also means my activities are limited for now. We continue to pray fervently for her healing while praising God that His will be done—nothing more, nothing less, nothing else! (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
I’m grateful to God for all he’s doing in our lives and in the COIN ministry. Thank you for your loving and supportive hearts.
