Thanksgiving, what a wonderful time to stop and acknowledge ALL that our wonderful God has given to us.
It’s certainly easier when things are going well isn’t it?!
Yet many choose to focus on the positives rather than the negatives like…

  • the paralyzed Army veteran who was thankful to complete the NY City Marathon with the help of a robotic exoskeleton.
  • A pro football player expressing gratitude to his blind mother.

We all have so much to be thankful for in Christ.
1 Thess. 5:18, “give thanks to God the Father for everything.”

I’m thankful…I was in a car accident last Thursday, thankful that though both cars were totaled, nobody was hurt. You can replace a car but not a person. It was a quick reminder of how quickly things can change, which is why we’re to keep our eyes and hearts on things above and as we do that we see things more from His perspective and can be thankful for Gods unspeakable gift.

May your light shine in gratitude today.
Onward and upward,
